2005 BMW 530i MSPORT. Satelite Navigation Failure. The Satelite Navigation Unit completely failed on my car, leaving me with no access to commuications, radio and information systems like flat tyre monitor and oil level. Fotunately, an internet search lead me to discover Revtronic in Braford who I contacted by email. In a matter of hours, I was answered by a very pleasent gentleman named Pops, who reassured me that it was a very common problem which they could could fix by rebuilding the unit for £ 375 + vat. in approximately 7 -10 days. After veiwing thier well presented video on how to remove the unit from the vehicle, I subsequently posted the unit to them and was contacted by Pops on the day they recieved it who confirmed it needed a rebuild and that it would likely take 4 - 5days. It was actually nearer 16 days or so before being informed that the unit was repaired and tested and ready for reinstallation back into my vehicle. The reinstallation process was carried out in 10 -15 mins, at a mtually convenient time a couple of days later and the unit is back to full working order. I'm very satisfied with the service from Revtronic and would not hestitate to highly recommend them.
